DJ Kool Ant is a 21 year veteran in the game of DJing and comes from a family of DJs. He began his career in Chicago assisting family during their DJ gigs. He continued honing his craft after moving to Florida where he attended Florida A&M University. While there he was a Def Jam Rep and took things further by becoming an On-Air personality and mixer at Hot 105.7, then 96.1 Jamz, XM Satellite channel 65. While in Florida he established lasting relationships with many artists and music industry professionals of all genres. His love of music dates back to the early 90's where he was inspired by East Coast, Deep South, Reggae and House Styles of music. He credits legendary DJ’s Worldwide for guidance, encouragement and inspiration. DJ Kool Ant has been the fun commander for 1,000's Rockin Night Clubs, Private Parties, Concerts and Celebrity Events worldwide. DJ Kool Ant is well respected and considered one of the top Radio and Mixtape DJ's in the city of Chicago. Music continues to be a driving force in his life and striving for excellence remains a top priority.
