For the past 13 years, NYC native Adam Merced, aka DJ MODE, has been curating music for some of the world’s largest and most recognizable brands such as Nike, Pepsi, Brisk, Audi, High Snobiety, The Decathlon, NBA MLS, the NFL and The Metropolitan Museum of art. He is the former Associate Music Director for Madison Square Garden and the current Music Supervisor/DJ for the New York City Football Club. He has been behind the turntables at some of the most legendary venues, cultural hotspots, and private clubs in the country, including Soho House, Bungalow 8, Mansion and Nikki Beach just to name a few. DJ MODE is an innovator and thought-leader in his craft. His vast musical range, music genre knowledge, and turntable acumen has led to speaking engagements for corporate clients and the cultural influencer community. He is also actively involved in various philanthropic endeavors, most notably playing a mentorship role at the Harlem Childrens Zone. In 2016 Mode created an after school music production and DJ program for the students at the New Visions Charter HS. DJ Mode continues to push the boundaries of his creativity and is quickly becoming a driving force in the cultural economy.
