DJ Munro

DJ Munro is a Music Stylist and DJ for luxury brands and private clients around the world. Based in London he first came to prominence playing unlicensed warehouse parties in the early 1990's, and as a pirate radio DJ on ICE FM before commercial success with national Radio Network Galaxy FM.

DJ Munro was a founder member of the first official Sony "Street Team" to use guerilla street marketing - pushing records for Beyonce, Destiny's Child, Lauryn Hill, Will Smith, The Wu Tang Clan and more. During this time he remixed for Destiny's Child & Janet Jackson and toured with Lauryn Hill among others.

After meeting British Soul Singer/Songwriter Beverley Knight, MBE he went on to write and produce gaining multiple credits on her albums and became the Singer's official tour DJ. Among other world tours he has performed on the UK leg of the BoyzIIMen world tour and has worked with artists such as Snoop Dogg, The Game, Billy Ocean, Fatman Scoop, Alexander O'Neal, Ed Sheeran and Tinie Tempah.

DJ Residencies have included the Vista Rooftop Bar at The Trafalgar Hotel (London), Cafe Royal (London), Nobu (Mayfair Hotel, London), Salon Couture (The Savoy Hotel, London), Radio Rooftop @ Me Hotel (London) and Grace Bay Club (Turks & Caicos). He has also played seasons at Cafe Mambo (Ibiza), Space (Ibiza), Hakkasan (Las Vegas), Budda Bar (London, Dubai), Jumeirah Beach (Dubai), Burj Al Arab (Dubai), LIV at Fontainebleau Hotel (Miami), Velarassu Resort (Maldives) and festivals including Glastonbury, T in The Park (Scotland), V Festival (London) and Caribbean House Evolution (Turks and Caicos).

Corporate clients include: Adidas, Sony, Hilton, Hyatt, Soho House, The Ned, SpecSavers, YouTube, Barclays Bank, NHS, Reebok, Alan Shearer Foundation, Chelsea FC, Manchester United FC.

A regular during London Fashion Week, Munro has curated shows and after parties for British Fashion Designer Joshua Kane and US Fashion Designer Kithe Brewster. Cast parties and after parties for West End hit shows have included Hamilton The Musical, Moulin Rouge The Musical, Bodyguard The Musical, Memphis The Musical, Chess and Sylvia.
