BIO DJNAV

Jose Pizarro (NAV) is a rising star in the Electronic Dance Music scene. Born in Costa Rica in 1986 his DJ sets are influenced by the rhythms of his native country but he plays with an international perspective. NAV grew up with a passion for progressive house, trance and techno and honed his skills listening to stellar DJs such as Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, Armin Van Burin, UMEK and many others.

At the age of 17 NAV started making his own music, mostly progressive house and trance, using sequencing software, snyths and groove boxes. With 10 original productions under his belt he is now an established artist in his own right.

NAV DJs across multiple media including CD decks and software, such as Traktor. His sets are enhanced by on-the-stop sampling, synths and live vocals all blended into a unique sound through the gold standard Xone controllers.
