DJ Rojo

DJ Rojo is from the city of Rotterdam in The Netherlands. After he has built up a beautiful salsa collection within a few years time, in the beginning of 2002 he gets the chance to play on a salsa party in Rotterdam. The reactions are very positive and not long after that DJ Rojo starts as a resident DJ in Tropical dance club Sorgh & Hoop in Rotterdam. Within a few months the salsafriday becomes a success. After that everything develops fast.

Nowadays DJ Rojo is a well known DJ who has played on numerous events among which Latin Dance Night, LatinVillage, SalsaLounge, Salsa Under The Bridge, Salsa Casa Loca, Salsa On The Beach, Café Local and the Rotterdam Summer Carnival.

DJ Rojo has a predilection for Salsa Dura and Salsa Clasica but on parties always plays a variety of styles - Salsa Dura, Clasica, Romantica, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Colombian, New York Salsa - so everybody gets their kicks. The salsa that he plays always has a good groove. Besides salsa DJ Rojo also plays mambo, bachata, merengue, kizomba, zouk, reggaeton, dancehall en soca en R&B.
