DJ RushN

To DJ RushN, sound is a way of life.

Born during the end of an era in 1984 Moscow, RushN grew up in the turbulence of a rapidly changing Russia. His foundation with music began from a very early age. Intrigued by sound as a child, his first foray into what would inevitably shape his life started with a couple of tape decks he fixed up and got up and running in his bedroom to experiment with mixing beats.

At the age of 12, RushN found himself transported into the United Kingdom, a brand new and palpably foreign world where he burst into the scene and immediately started making a name for himself in London's undergound circles as well as in it's surrounding cities. He soon became known as 'the Russian one'.

While his nom de guerre 'DJ RushN' was coined as an obvious nod to his red roots, the compelling reason behind it is his innate ability to get whole crowds rushing when he is on the decks with his energetic and eclectic take on music .

RushN goes where the sound takes him. He is currently based out of the Middle East, a raw musical terrain in which he intends to carve out a new landscape with his sound. He continues to wow crowds in Qatar with his signature style that keeps people raving into the night.

RushN produces his own music. His distinct sound - big baselines, bold beats, experimental arrangements, and variation after surprising variation - has caught the attention of some of the UK's notable dub and bass music labels. He also spins some minimal tech.

DJ RushN makes his rounds in the South East Asia circuit. His experience as a producer finds him pumping up underground parties around Doha under the banner MindWarp.

It is only a matter of time before DJ RushN goes global and becomes a household name for anyone who is serious about EDM.
