I write technothriller spy novels under the name "D. S. Kane," that reflect some of the things I did in the past, in real life. My characters include members MI-6, the Mossad, the Chinese CSIS, and one of the unnamed intelligence services of the United States. I'm represented by the Nancy Ellis Literary Agency for fiction and Brandy Rivers of the Gersh Agency for screenwriting.

I'm a retired intelligence professional. My cover was manamgement consultant and university faculty at NYU' Stern Graduate School of Business, teaching global banking and economics. I was published on topics including computer hacking and countermeasures, econometric forecasting, and wrote a children's book on banking and finance, published by Simon and Schuster.
