Diarmuid is a full member of the UKs Institute of Acoustics, the Acoustical Society of America and the UKs Institute of Sound and Communication Engineers. Diarmuid also serves on the committee of the Irish Branch of the Institute of Acoustics and has been directly involved in the review of national guidance documents in relation to environmental noise assessment.
