Dieter Korting

I've been a boilermaker/welder since 1985 but after almost 30 years I'm undertaking the exciting journey of career change that has me undertaking study and beginning my Diploma of Screen and Media at SAE Institute .I enjoy drawing and have been learning to sketch and storyboarding, writing short stories which I hope to one day expand on and am now learning 3D modelling and animation using Maya.I love hanging out with my awesome and just a bit crazy family.My career goal would be to work both individually and collaboratively within the digital creative industry so as to allow my creativity to be liberated. I would love the opportunity for the person watching, reading or interacting to feel engaged or entertained by my work, be it a laugh, a provoking thought, special effect or even just noticing a well modelled lunchbox sitting on a cluttered kitchen benchtop in an animated short would be a thrill.Now its time for me to make it so!
