Danielle Laurenceau
Consultant, Volunteer, and Constituent Service in Baltimore, Maryland
Hi, Thanks for visiting my page.
I'm a Morgan State University and University of Baltimore alum and have worked for Baltimore City government for 6 years. I work closely with the Baltimore City Council President and City Agency Officials as a bridge with community leaders, organizations and public agencies to promote community service programs and best serve the public interest. My Master’s is in Conflict and Negotiation which highlights my passion of peace-building, international conflict, humanitarianism, and advocacy.
I am on a path of continuous learning, making things happen and having a blast while doing it. Success is about dedication. You may not be where you want to be or do what you want to do when you're on the journey. But you've got to be willing to have vision and foresight that leads you to an incredible end.
I grew up in New York, living in both urban and suburban communities. I've worked a lot of jobs [some not listed on my resume] that mold me into a woman of poise, yet professional; glass half full, yet half empty; ambitious, driven and an extreme go-getter. I focus on the journey, not always the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in actually doing it… But the destination sure is amazing!
