My passion for addressing the world-wide inequalities in health has taken me from Mexico and Ecuador to Slovakia and South Africa. I believe the key to changing the international health care dynamic is affordable and sustainable diagnostics and treatment modalities.

I teach at Boston University, both at the instructor level in biostatistics and at the assistant level in epidemiology. Helping biomedical investigators hone their research skills has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career and one of the most important reasons I chose to pursue academic medicine.
