Hi, This is me and Heidi, Rick calls us, "My Girls". Yep, and Heidi is all girl and just as yappy as I can be sometimes! At any rate we are safe creatures and we say it as we see it! She will get her heckles up but mostly just to warn that she will protect me. We are very loyal to those we love, old friends and new. We want to see you through your difficulties right on into a healing time in your life. Heidi sometimes senses when you are down and will com sniff and touch you. You may feel better if you pet her, she'll stand for it! Me, i am a good listener, often an encourager and sometimes a yellow light of caution on your road. I was married and divorced in my very beginning 20's. It is an aweful thing to go through when all your friends are getting married and starting families. But now I see it is just as horrible and worse to be going through this at age 50 & 60 and have to share the kids and split the house. I think you older people have it worse. I really feel for you. You have so much to lose in you history. However, in time you will heal, God, if you invite Him, has a new life ahead for you, He can make use if this mess, this awful time, and bring about good where evil left its tread. I was left/abandoned on the pretense that "I" had cheated on him. Infact now I can see it was the other way around long before I knew it. I had all kinds of experiences and learnings in the School of Hard Knocks. I read a lot of books, listened to people and learned what kind of a man I really wanted in my life. I made a list of qualities I wanted, and what I could NOT live with. I found that man. Is he perfect? No but he is a good guy! His Center is the Lord, and doing right by God is just fine with me. It makes him accountable to the right "being"! To give credence to my knowledge learned the painful way, I also did some other studies. I wanted to GET WISDOM about life, and help others through the pain that I had also have experienced. Jesus paved a way for me to put to use all the pain, in a positive loving way, serving Him. I am happy to do it. It entails being available for you, to hear, to listen, to validate, to share, encourage and sometimes even discourage you from a bad road and look up, to Him!
