Born in the mid west, this seasoned educator, designer and analyst worked, traveled and or lived in Wisconsin, North Carolina and South Carolina. Currently, Don wrangles educated cats on the six campuses of Central Piedmont Community College and encourages them to use technology in a way that enhances learning.

His daily chores also include Business analyst work on the many Video Captioning workflows which includes a deadline of 5/2018 for full ADA compliance. This is no small task getting a bunch of individuals on six campus ranches to become a posse. Also, Don leads a team of talented cowpokes, called the CPCC Digital Inclusion Group. This band of dedicated faculty and staff are working to close the digital inclusion gaps for some of the CPCC students and also neighbors in an eight mile radius around the Central Campus.

It is a mighty powerful thing accessing the internet, because access provides opportunity to job applications, bank accounts, video chat and email. These are just a few of the benefits from closing the digital gap for all citizens.
