Once a splicer of genes and a sculptor of biomolecules, now a splicer of data and a sculptor of information. A Biochemist turned Data Engineer , I develop intelligent backend applications that turn oceans of digital noise into symphonies of impactful information. I am both a spirited visionary with a limitless supply of ideas, and a data stream designer who brings information to a higher state of usability while making sense of complex data landscapes and ever-changing technologies. I am a masher of metrics and a connoisseur of data technology who has an insatiable thirst to figure things out. Sifting through data has always been a huge part of my career. Finding better ways to acquire the proverbial "needle in a haystack" (or finding out whether we really need the needle in the first place) is an art that I excel at.
The photo I posted was taken near Point Reyes Lighthouse (in December) as a fog bank slowly dissipated in front of an awesome sunset. If you can find her, the tiny ominous character in the picture is my oldest (then 8 y.o.) daughter who's patiently waiting for dad to finish the shot.
