Teacher in Kansas
I am currently serving as the Network Coordinator in Sterling, KS for USD #376 as well as providing technology integration assistance. Along with working aside the teachers and students of USD #376 I serve as an Adjunct Professor for Sterling College. The course I facilitate is EDU356 Technology in the Classroom.
As an educator who strives to be a lifelong learner, I have achieved a variety of mentorship goals. Those include being an Intel Master Teacher, serving on the Kansas Discovery Education Network Leadership Council along with being a member of the DEN Guru class of 2011, conduct professional development workshops in Kansas and Oklahoma as a National Mentor for Levels of Teaching Innovation (LoTi), as well as assisting the Kansas State Department of Education as a Thinkfinity Cohort trainer. If you would like to learn additional information about me, use the "Eportfolio" link at the bottom as it will access my e-portfolio.
As part of my off-clock work, I am married with three wonderful children and enjoy being around them. Two of them challenge my wife and I when it comes to technology access and being on the Wii. In addition to being a family man, I co-hosted a monthly web show on Blackboard Collaborize with Tina Schneider and Barbara Tallent of LiveBinders. You can find us on at http://shrd.by/5gRAD6
