Deavon is a senior software architect and developer specializing primarily in the .NET Framework using the C# language specification. He has worked on projects across a wide spectrum of applications, from small business point-of-sale systems to mission critical, high volume transactional services.

Deavon also has experience in web and mobile, including HTML5, CSS3, Angular 2.0, and node.js. The mobile platform of choice is iOS utilizing Swift (sorry, Objective-C ... our love/hate relationship has finally come to an end).

Deavon is a regular contributor to the open source community, where he is most interested in improving the quality-of-life of the everyday developer. Some recent examples are:

Condo - a cross-platform, automated build system.

OmniSharp-Scaffolding - a complete scaffolding story for the next generation of the .NET platform (CoreCLR).

Uber - an upgraded bash shell prompt macOS and linux distributions.

Other areas of interest include .NET Core, Entity Framework Core, MVC, RavenDb/MongoDb/DocumentDb (NoSQL), OWIN, OAuth, OIDC, and Health IT.
