Currently completing a community music certificate at Goldsmiths College, I am engaged in establishing Gamelan and other Community Music projects in schools, prisons, pupil referral units and the wider community settings, emphasising group music making as a vehicle for social change and community cohesion.
Making annual trips to Java to work with Dhalang Puppeteer Sri Joko Raharjo, we are developing Javanese Wayang shadow theatre into an accessible format for education and community arts schemes in the UK.
