Darrell Cobner
Student, Teacher, and Director in Cardiff, United Kingdom
I had over 7 years extensive experience in the field at International level, which included support for the Rugby World Cup Winning team of 2003. My direct employment by National Governing Bodies took me all round the globe to assist world-class coaches and athletes in Olympic preparation/European Cups with English Hockey, and Commonwealth Games/World Cups with England Rugby.
I am a pracademic at Cardiff Met, translating my experience across elite sport, performance analysis, higher education, product development and AI-supported educational practice to educate the next generation of analysts and coaches. My aim is to help develop “oven-ready” employable graduates with the technical skills, professional judgement and personal attributes required in the field.
My current interest explores how staff, students and professionals retain judgement, evidence and ownership in the age of answers.
