D. Michael Wilson is an executive leader in the global specialty chemicals industry, currently serving as CEO of Vibrantz Technologies. Wilson focuses on spurring transformational change to build company culture and connect people to purpose. He holds over two decades of experience in president, CEO, and director roles and a history of leading billion-dollar organizations to exceptional levels of growth and profitability. Wilson's areas of expertise include strategic development, change management, operational excellence, sustainability, enterprise turnarounds, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Vibrantz Technologies, D. Michael Wilson was president, chief executive officer, and director of Ingevity. During his tenure, Wilson led significant growth in revenues and shepherded the company through three major acquisitions. D. Michael Wilson also previously served Albemarle Corporation as executive vice president and president of the Performance Chemicals global business unit. From 1997 to 2013, Wilson held executive roles with FMC, including executive vice president and president of the Specialty Chemicals Group, corporate vice president and general manager Industrial Chemicals Group, and division manager for the Lithium Division.

Throughout his years, D. Michael Wilson has been an active board member and has served on the Boards of Directors of Vulcan Materials, the American Chemistry Council, the National Association of Manufacturers, and the Philadelphia and Greater Charleston Metro Chambers of Commerce.

D. Michael Wilson is also a committed philanthropist, having established the Michael and Pam Wilson Family Fund to benefit various programs. The Family Fund currently benefits the Lowcountry Food Bank, the South Carolina Aquarium, and Reading Partners South Carolina. The fund is also underwriting the D. Michael and Pam Wilson Plastic Free Waters initiative at the SC Aquarium.

Wilson has a BS in Chemistry and an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill. In 2018, D. Michael Wilson was recognized as one of the "50 Most Influential People" in Charleston Business Magazine for his corporate leadership.
