Dmitry Semyonov
Student in Рига, Латвия
I am a final-year student at Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TTI) Riga, studying Technical Maintenance of Aviation Transport on Bachelor programme. I am looking for a job in EASA Part-147 aircraft maintenance organisation.
Aircraft maintenance technician is a job that requires combination of wide range of knowledge base as well as maintenance and repair experience. It appeals to me as a perfect job due to my fidelity to learn, to work with mechanics and what is most important - attraction to aviation itself. I don’t have much aircraft maintenance experience, but I would be happy to raise it.
During my time at TTI I have participated in such events as “How Well Do You Know Riga?”, as an organisation assistant for 3 years in a row, I represented TTI at “School 2013/2014/2015” exhibitions. These events gave me various experience. Teamwork experience is one of the most important as well as communication with people. I also participate in Student Council at TTI, where I head “Research and Science” branch. My current responsibilities as leader are: motivating students to participate in research and science activities, such as Robotechnic club, conferences and science exhibitions; I coordinate work of my team to make sure students know about science events in institute. Contacting lecturers is also one of my responsibilities.
Apart of my studies and work I apply my locksmith experience to make art and design elements. I use wood and metal to make cutlery, mostly knives. I use foam plastic sheets to make a cosplay elements. I also like to read sci-fi books. I believe it expands a borders of my interests.
My current job is metal construction assemblier. This job gave me experience in reading drawings and manuals. Quite often I produce some assembly parts by myself if high accuracy is not essential.
Thank You for paying attention to my quick resume.
