Profiling Corporate Governance professional Dmitry Bosky

British NED Dmitry Bosky has held a number of positions throughout his career, advising private equity funds and serving on numerous Boards, professional, charitable, educational, arts and religious, across Europe and Russia. He helped to build a number of successful companies in Russia including Pyaterochka, later the X5 Retail Group, and Katren Pharmaceuticals, and has contributed to or edited ten monographs on finance, science and humanities.

Education

Dmitry received his MBA from Harvard Business School. During his time there, he was elected President of the International Business Club. He also holds a first-class degree from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies in early Indian religious studies.

Investment Experience

Dmitry worked for nine years at Security Pacific Venture Capital Group, where he built a portfolio of investments in six countries and in all stages of development, across a diverse range of industries. He opened the Group’s first international office in London.

For many years, Dmitry worked closely with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where he led their successful in-house Russian Fund, the West Siberia Regional Venture Fund.

Chairman, Board Member and Board Advisor

Dmitry served as Chairman, member or advisor to a number of commercial Boards. These include: Katren Pharmaceuticals, Pyaterochka, SUEK, Amor and Indivers.

Personal Interests

Dmitry is a proud owner of a Ural sidecar motorcycle. He volunteers with Deafblind UK.
