Danyal Mohammadzadeh

This is Danyal Mohammadzadeh, an Iranian graduate student from the Boston University. I have considerable experience with journalism, photojournalism,web design, and on-line radio programproduction and Podcast.

In May 2014, I got a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the State University of New York in Albany.

I achieved two journalistic awards in May 2014: The Ronald R. Schafer Memorial Fund Scholarship for the Outstanding Graduating Senior in Journalism and the Rowley Award for Journalistic Writing.

I possess a year of progressive experience in writing and editing political news for The Legislative Gazette, weekly newspaper covering New York State politics, and its affiliated website.

In addition, because of my experience as news editor in the Middle East, I was invited Sept. 2014 to work in the department of journalism in the State University of New York at Albany as teacher assistant.

I possess more than two years of progressive experience in the reporting of human rights violations operated by the Islamic Republic of Iran. My professional history includes positions such as researcher and reporter at the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center- New Haven, CT as well as freelance journalist.
