Jeane Patrick

Born in the Philippines to a family of music lovers, Jing's musicality was honed from a very young age. Her mom talks of stories about singing to her even before she was born; "I would either sing to her or play music on our then, very high-tech casette player.", she said. "And right from the day she was born, Jing has always been exposed to music since my sibilngs also loved to sing and some of them even played musical instruments."

Jing started singing at the age of 3, although she couldn't say the words quite right, her notes were precise. Very impressive for a 3-year old, I guess it is safe to say that she learned to sing before she could even talk. At the age of 5, her parents sent her to Piano school, where she learned how to play pieces from classical music to pop hits. At the age of 11, her mom taught her how to play the guitar and it became an extension of her from then on. In high school, she went on to study music and voice formally. Jing has joined and won numerous singing competitions over the years before retiring to teach music and direct plays.

Although she showed signs of being a composer when she was 3, that is, when she would invent lyrics to songs (in a language that only she could understand), she wrote her first original composition at the age of 16 - and the song went on to become a grand finalist at a national song writing competition in the UAE.

Since then, Jing has been a successful writer & eventologist, using her God-given talents to promote original Filipino music and original Filipino talent.
