My joy is inspiring out of nowhere a way of DISTINCT EXPRESSIONS. My name is Ms. Nikki and entertainment is my path to entrepreneurship. I am the founder of D.N.A. (Distinct. New. Authentic.) “In the Genes, Authentically”. My life’s work, D.N.A. is moving with full force and bringing authenticity to the entertainment industry here in the Greater Phoenix Area. D.N.A. simply put, is all about being YOU through expression.

At a very young age I danced enjoying every moment on my personal world stage while “doing my thang.” I spent many summers pretending to be on stage performing my heart out to an audience, as I’m sure many young girls still do today. My cousins and I would choreograph hip-hop dance routines from artists such as,Micheal & Janet Jackson, MC Hammer, Salt “N” Peppa, and "TLC." I was more fascinated by the work of art of the motion designed by the dancers and choreographers then anything else. In 7th grade I decided on a "what do you want to be when you grow up?" project that I will become a dancer/choreographer and since that day have practiced my dance to perfection to make it so.

At D.N.A. the whole spectrum of being a dancer is embraced. Expression is considered a gift that must be given a form, a movement, a dance. Young girls need to know that their expression is their life force and by not connecting to our life force and allowing authentic expression, we inhibit the revelation of our gifts and empowerment to inspire and create beautiful positive life changing moments.Every performance I have realized from “Tapestry in Motion”, “Sister Moses”, “the One”, fashion shows and women inspirational conferences has molded a clearer understanding of who I am and given me the revelation of the value of the work of D.N.A. Together as a dance community we will examine and experience with our young dancers the way to forming their hopes and dream into authentic reality.
