For 12 years I grew up in a Permaculture centre in Brazil (Ecocentro IPEC) where sustainability became a normal part of my day-to-day life. I was home educated and my lessons revolved around life skills and nature. I learned how to grow my own food, build with natural materials, raise animals and live in community. At the age of 17 I represented Brazil in Kyoto to talk about sustainability and youth. Over the years I've taught Permaculture to young people from around the globe. Since 2006 I have been a part of the Boom Festival Sustainability Team creating Land Art Gardens that not only delight the taste buds but also are beautiful to the eye. I now live in Mullumbimby NSW where I study, grow food in urban spaces and teach my son to live sustainably.
