I am a professional fine art artist and photographer currently living in Pretoria, South Africa. My paintings are realistic representations derived from personal experience, direct observation and my photographic documentation of my travels. I go to great lengths to obtain my subject matter, hiking deep into the wilderness following rivers and streams, I'll go anywhere to find beautiful views.

I am particularly interested in the play of light and colour, the tension created by the compression of near and far spaces and the atmosphere of the moment.
