Mohammad Zahir Shah

Dr. Mohammad Zahir Shah received his Medical Doctorate from Kabul Medical University in 2006, and then joined PIMS Hospital Islamabad for post-graduation (MS neurosurgery) in 2008 and completed his training in July 2012. In 2013, he continued in Germany at the University Hospital of Tubingen for a 3-month additional training with a WFNS fellowship. He is the Lead Neurosurgeon at Blossom Health Care Center in Kabul, Afghanistan.

In addition to surgical work, Dr. M Zahir Shah provides daily Outpatient Clinic service and attends to neurologic and neurosurgical cases for dozens of patients..

He is the father of four children and is fluent in English, Pashto and Dari
