I am a doctor, geriatric physician, integrative holistic medicine lover, athlete, wife and mother of two teenage girls. My father and grandfather were physicians who practiced holistic medicine and truly cared about the whole patient. I moved to Mooresville North Carolina after training at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Maryland in 1997, following my sister and parents as a wonderful new spot to raise a family. My years in practice has led me to teach geriatrics for a short while at Carolinas Medical Center, do Hospitalist work and run a medical clinic. I am passionate about working overseas in Peru once a year to give back after all my blessings. My spanish is not great, but I work daily at it! I also volunteer as the free clinic in Mooresville. I enjoy getting to know my patients as whole people. I take time to review all their medications, herbs and supplements and try to create a health plan for them that includes prevention/weight loss if needed, bioidentical hormones, exercise guideance and ways to cope with the aging process. I am also doing research with Davidson College on a computer program to preserve your memory! I have worked closely with Hospice of Iredell County, Lake Norman, Iredell Memorial Hospital and Carolinas Medical Center. My office number is 704-663-4443.
