Dom or Dominique Myesha Carson's journey from silence is very rewarding.Hearing impaired as a child, but was destined to partake in a profession that would change her life forever. With the help of her mother, Monique Miller, sister, Nashira Canady, a host of relatives, friends, colleagues, and her faith in God. Carson was able to spread her wings and soar immediately. Carson is a young woman who truly has a passion for journalism. Journalism fills her heart with so much gratification.

The lifestyle of a journalist grabbed her attention at the age of eight and she strives to be superb in her future profession. Her work has been featured in Urbane Perspective Media+ Lifestyle, Spotlight on Recovery magazine, Brooklyn Daily Eagle, Brooklyn College Excelsior, Bay Currents, BooksNReview.com, Soultrain.com, Singersroom.com, Rappersroom.com, www.thecelebritycafe.com, Brooklyn College's website and magazine, Brooklyntoday.info, Amsterdam News, and Education Update.

Carson graduated from Brooklyn College in September 2014 with her Master of Science degree in Media Studies. The program offered a broad range of subjects including media management, marketing, fieldwork, publicity, and critical and cultural media study.

She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Italian from the college as well. She received numerous awards in journalism and academic excellence.

In addition to writing and reporting, Carson is a massage therapy student at CUNY Queensborough Community College. She will be a licensed massage therapist in 2019.

Her ultimate goal is to facilitate people's lives with her words and hands.

But, outside of her professional life, Carson is humble, grounded, family-oriented, and understands that God is the central foundation in her life.
