Dominic McNamara
STEM Tutor in Adelaide, Australia
An Electronics Engineer with a scientific mind throughout, Dominic has always been intrigued by a world of all kinds - no matter the topic, but that information is to be shared. In his mind, delivering a STEM approach as an adjunct to education streams requires the development of a system approach to digital functions as a learning process with full support for every staff member and every student. This would also mean the inclusion of applied science projects and art as a creative mix where we answer the question posed by so many students, "when will I ever use this?"
Originally from the U.K., most of his life lived in Adelaide, South Australia, Dominic is a former R & D Application engineer, 3D modeller and site operations technician.
With the advent of a digital curriculum requirement on the 2016 year horizon - something we had all known was coming, Dominic has made it a personal mission to try and find a way to make simple, creative STEM space coding projects available to the next generation of students - & importantly, support their teachers - everywhere. Dominic is also an author, a composer, a film maker and delights in putting it all together to help dynamically deliver information.
Dominic tries to make that journey as informed and absorbing as possible.
