Dominic Oettl is a Cape Town-based entrepreneur, technologist, and investor with 25 years of experience building and scaling technology businesses across Africa and beyond.

After founding Think iT Solutions and successfully exiting to JSE-listed EOH — where he subsequently served as CTO — Dominic turned his focus to the intersection of emerging technology and business value creation. Today he operates across a portfolio of ventures that reflect this vision: RevvTech, his AI enablement and fractional CTO practice; Fairgate Investments, an investment vehicle focused on mid-market opportunities.

Dominic's sweet spot is the South African mid-market — businesses turning over R50m to R500m — where he helps leadership teams harness artificial intelligence, modernise their technology infrastructure, and make better strategic decisions. His client work spans sectors including retail, financial services, education, FMCG, packaging, and clinical research.
