Communications pro in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
A professional communicator, clients such as J&J, SAP and the New York City MTA have contracted me to collaborate with executives in promoting objectives and engaging employees. I contribute clear, convincing messaging that aligns the workforce with the corporate strategy.
At the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, I suggested marketing strategy and created communications and training materials to keep their Windows 10 and Office 365 rollouts on track. At SAP, my communications encouraged data quality and governance for 87,000 global employees through articles and postings on the internal website, as well as video scripts and training materials. Previously, I created newsletters and training materials as well as managed the intranet on a cross-functional IT change management initiative for 4,500 managers worldwide at Johnson & Johnson.
For many years, my award-winning strategies and messaging molded the behaviors of 37,000 employees for BAE Systems, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of a global manufacturing and services firm. In addition to managing intranet content on SharePoint 2013 and Office 365, I wrote a biweekly newsletter for 1,000 shared services employees.
Before entering corporate communications, I enjoyed a high-octane run shaping television news as producer and senior writer at the NBC network-owned and -operated TV station in Philadelphia.
Fellow alum George R.R. Martin, author of Game of Thrones, called Northwestern the "finest journalism school in the United States," claiming his Medill experience "helped shape my writing... It changed who I was." That's About.Me, too!
