I am the principal and co-founder of Read the Air, a specialty advisory services initiative helping organizations put sustainability at the core of their business, for purpose and profit.

I am a strategic planner with experience in the IT, finance, Cloud-computing and media industries in Asia. I've worked with and for start-ups and multinationals, including NetSuite, VIA Technologies and Lehman Brothers, launching new divisions, product lines and business services. I specialize in determining market opportunities and designing entrepreneurial initiatives; and making decisions based on data analysis that uncovers cause-and-effect relationships, considering results against real world conditions and formulating appropriate responses.

I also have extensive journalistic experience working for four years at the Japan Times as a features editor and regular contributor. A graduate of St. John's College's Great Books program of philosophy and science, I am able to quickly take deep dives on difficult new subjects to determine future direction for business development.
