Donald Kuegler

In his most recent role, Donald Kuegler served as Director and Manufacturing/Plant Manager with contract packaging company Frank-Lin Distillers in San Jose, California. There, he worked intensively in customer service, and he reduced short shipments from 25% to zero. He also spearheaded a $40 million green field expansion project to increase facility space for the company's 5 million-case annual volume. In addition, Donald Kuegler carefully renegotiated hourly labor contracts to achieve a 15% reduction in loaded hourly cost.

Donald Kuegler began in the adult beverage industry in 1983, working in a supervisory and area manager role with Anheuser-Busch, Inc. He earned multiple promotions and ultimately became Senior Manager of the company's busy St. Louis Brewery. He served in this role for nine years, during which time he reduced the company's operating budget by $1.1 million annually. He also managed an intensive employee training process and oversaw multiple improvement groups whose work resulted in an annual savings of $200,000.

Donald Kuegler then went on to serve for six years with Diageo Global Supply, the leading producer of premium adult beverages worldwide. There, he increased packaging line efficiencies and reduced waste in processing to achieve a $3 million reduction in the annual budget for operations in his second year. He became Vice President and Operations/Plant Manager in 2004, and he leveraged his high-level position to undertake several strategic planning projects in facilities and brand value.

Donald Kuegler holds a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management and Information Systems, as well as a Master's degree in Business and International Affairs. He has also undergone extensive training in such areas as lean manufacturing, statistical process control, and continuous process improvement.
