Don Crossland

Having originally trained as a graphic designer, I worked for over 14 years as designer and Art Director. In 2004, I started shooting editorial fashion and architecture for several regional and national magazines. After a two-year hiatus from photography, I was itching to get back behind the camera and decided to refocus my career, specializing in food and food culture photography, combining my two biggest passions, beautiful images and all things culinary.

I split my time between Los Angeles and New York. When I'm not behind the camera, I write a food and food photography blog, Shoot What You Eat, for which I develop, cook, style and shoot recipes, share culinary travels and other food related subjects. My first cookbook, Fresh Food, Fresh Ingredients is currently available in the iTunes Bookstore.
