I'm a 40-something stay-at-home mother of three. Our oldest, Big Man, was/is our micro-preemie, born at 26 weeks gestation. Our Princess in the middle is our only girl, future artist, future prima ballerina/jazz dancer/hip hopper extraordinaire. Our youngest, Little Man, *has* an autism spectrum disorder (but it doesn't have him). Oh, and we also have three dogs and two cats. We are a herd because my husband says we are. That's how he described our family when our third child was born, and it stuck. I write about mommyhood, parenting a special needs child, running, scrapbooking, the woes of being a SAHM, and pretty much anything else that comes to mind.
