I’m Donna—the woman behind the brand, and the brand behind the Big Red Glasses. 🪞❤️👓

The graduate in the cap is really me. 🎓
The woman in those wonderfully oversized red glasses is also me—my avatar, whom you’ll see more of—a creative reflection of my personality, ideas, dreams, and the woman behind everything I’m building.

And somehow, seeing the two of us riding off together with Niko feels pretty darn appropriate. 😂❤️🐾

My story began during a time when even seeing clearly felt uncertain.

As a young mother of four, keratoconus left me legally blind. I could read a book held close to my face, but I couldn’t clearly see my children’s faces from across the room.

Two corneal transplants restored much of my vision—enough that today, I’m happy to say I can finally drive a car, although I still have to be mindful of changes in my eyesight.

That experience changed much more than what I could see. It shaped how I think about possibility, resilience, gratitude, and continuing forward—even when the road ahead isn’t completely clear.

Years later, those BIG RED GLASSES became a playful part of my brand.

Funny how life works. ❤️

From blurred lines to bold visions.

Over more than 40 years of professional experience—including 25+ years in real estate—I kept working, learning, creating, and carrying around ideas that sometimes refused to leave me alone. 😂

Along the way, I earned master’s degrees in Business Administration and Real Estate and continued developing longtime projects through Holloman Home Investments LLC.

Today, I’m the founder behind Donna L. Holloman Ventures, bringing together creativity, entrepreneurship, technology, storytelling, real estate, and community.

One thing life has taught me is that purpose doesn’t always arrive neatly packaged with instructions.

Sometimes it unfolds slowly.

One experience.
One idea.
One crazy detour. 😂
One dream that refuses to go away.
One chapter at a time.

As an introvert, putting myself—and especially my ideas—out into the world doesn't come naturally.

But I’ve come to appreciate sharing the journey.

Not because I have all the answers.

I definitely don’t. 😂

But because something we’ve lived, learned, created, survived, laughed about, or dreamed of might encourage somebody else not to give up on a dream of their own.
