Donna Torrence is a Sag-Aftra actress and model currently appearing in campaigns for Nature’s Bounty Vitamins, CVS Pharmacy, Osteo Bi-Flex and Humira, to name a few. She is also a journalist contributing to AARP.org, The New York Beacon newspaper and EURWeb,com.
Prior to acting and journalism, Donna enjoyed a stellar career in public relations, beginning with her appointment by legendary music exec Clive Davis to the position of Director of Publicity at Arista Records in New York. At Arista she worked alongside a team of superstar PR professionals responsible for further raising the profiles of iconic recording artists such as Prince, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Whitney Houston, Usher, TLC, Faith Evans, Goodie Mob featuring Cee Lo Green (LaFace), Q-Tip and Run DMC (Profile). She next became in-house VP of Corporate Communications for Sean "Diddy" Combs Bad Boy Entertainment
Moving on to VP at Mediasavvy PR, Donna Torrence’s first clients were music and fashion mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ and his Bad Boy Records roster of artists, as well as television projects (MTV’s “Making the Band”) and concert tours.
At Mediasavvy she also spearheaded all media and marketing for hip hop entrepreneur Percy “Master P” Miller and his superstar teenage son Lil’ Romeo (“Dancing with the Stars”).
Today she is still at the helm of Mediasavvy PR. Her most recent clients have included Cash Money/Universal Records where she headed up PR for the labels non-music ventures including book publishing (CMC books), sports, fashion, television and spirits
Other clients include: Antigua & Barbuda Board of Tourism and New York Times best-selling author Carl Weber and his film and television projects (The Man in 3B, The Preachers Son and the BET networks series “The Family Business”).
