I am a Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois Springfield, and a Visiting Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I earned an MBA and a Ph.D.
After a successful business career, I went back to the University in 1990, and completed my Doctorate in 1995. During the years that followed, I taught Leadership, Motivation, Strategy, Human Resources, Managing Change, and a variety of other courses.
At the same time I was co-editing six volumes of research papers (1994, 1995,1996,1997, 1997, 1998, John Wiley & Sons, London), publishing 3 textbooks (2003, 2009, 2011, American Press, Boston), and writing 2 motivational/self-leadership books: If Not Now, When? (2008, AuthorHouse, Bloomington, IN) and If Not You, Who? (2014, Amazon)
Although I am officially retired from the University, I continue to teach occasionally, conduct seminars and workshops, and lead planning retreats for corporate, not-for-profit, and governmental organizations, but now focus most of my attention on writing.
