Don Sheppard

I am an IT Management Consultant and Standards Advisor. I am known for my involvement in ISO standards for open systems and networking, most recently in the area of Cloud Computing. I have worked in IT for many years, much of has been in consulting. I have worked for CN Railway, CIBC and The PSC Group, but I am now an independent consultant (see www.concon.com). Over the years I have done many things - managed technical groups, chaired standards committees, been an mentor, and I have written a book and numerous whitepapers. My recent area has been public sector procurement. I am always looking for new and interesting assignments that contribute to progress in the IT industry.
