Dora Sauceda discovered a love for education after graduating from college and teaching at Gladys Porter Early College High School. She then opted to attend UT Austin for a master's degree in education administration and a doctorate in the superintendency.
Dora Sauceda was the principal of Cummings Middle School, where she provided training and teaching to assist the struggling school recover from a protracted academic and professional slump. As superintendent of Brownsville, she works with principals and provides leadership training to educators and administrators in her district.
