Dorcy Rugamba

Playwright, Director and Performer, Dorcy holds a Master in Drama from The “Conservatoire Royal de Liège”. Author of critically aclaimed plays Bloody Niggers, Market Place, Gamblers, co-author of “Rwanda 94”. As an actor Dorcy performed in several productions, Darwin Hotel, Tierno Bokar, Timon of Athens, Fire Next time..and conducted international workshops for Actors and Directors in Belgium, Usa, Uk, Italy, Rwanda and Senegal. In 2001, Dorcy founds the company Urwintore. In 2005 with Rwandan actors of Urwintore, he directs “ The Investigation” in international tour. Dorcy is the Artistic director of “Rwanda Arts Initiative”
