An independent producer of nationally syndicated enterprise technology content reaching approximately 2 million weekly engagements, Dr. Galli founded TBW Advisors LLC in Las Vegas, where she has spent seven self-funded years putting 400+ named executives and practitioners on camera at CES, Black Hat, Ai4, ISC West and G2E. She came to it after a Fortune 50 executive career: an IBM Master Inventor who led global teams in excess of 2000 people and business units w/P&L approaching $4 Billion, awarded 9 US & global patents including technologies you use everyday. Her appointments include IBM, Dell, AT&T, corporate officer as DHL Mail CIO/CTO, and platform architect and CTO over industry and sovereign clouds at Microsoft, where she was lead author of Azure Zero Trust Controls: Platform Threat Vector. A key executive at historical turning points of business transformation, she realized real-time sales-to-manufacturing operational analytics at Dell, directed IBM technology process transitions to 'inbound consulting' commonly referred as outsourcing, created the IBM Global Services IP program accounting for ~50% of IBM IP revenues today, and was Lead Architect for CORDS, IBM's first functional middleware proof of concept and the basis for WebSphere, opening floodgates for non-specialists to develop applications for the internet. An active entrepreneur, she was involved with WebMD on day-one and founded InfoEgis and Patient Forward, a tele-wellness solution.
Dr. Galli's career is built upon a solid foundation of 5 degrees by age 26 including a triple major bachelors, Masters, & Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Waterloo (Canada) complimented by an AACSB Honors MBA. Her doctoral supervisor was Charles Colbourn, giving her an Erdős number of 2 — closer than the average Fields Medalist — and Ron Mullin, Waterloo's first graduate, William Tutte's student and a Certicom co-founder, sat on both her committees. As an All American Athlete Collegiate Runner, her liberal arts Highest Honors BS from Eckerd College is with triple Major in Business Administration, CS, and Math complemented by process improvement certifications of Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma, Pull Thinking and the likes. This Top 25 Women on the Web recipient is a published author with her 1st book by Prentice Hall in English & Chinese. Active in the community and outreach programs, she has served on the Board of Directors for Community in Schools of Georgia, Women in Technology for the Technology Association of Georgia, Founding President for S. Florida SIM and Founder of Patient Forward Foundation. Dr. Galli has been an invited speaker at such distinguished venues as Forbes Executive Summit, CIO Summit, CIO Academy, Network+ Interop Las Vegas as well as The Internet Security Conference.
