'Oldie'. That's what the Aussies call folks like me. A parent of an adult child; yup, that's me - three adult children. Obviously I identify as parent first.

Secondly, traveler; I love to wander. Sometimes around town, sometimes around stunning wilderness areas, and sometimes around the globe.

I call California, North Dakota, and Queensland, Australia home, but mostly I feel at home where ever I am so long as 'where ever' is not behind the wheel of a moving vehicle in a large population center.

I am a partner in life with a fine Australian bloke who makes my heart sing. Together we have adventures. Sometimes it is necessary to have our adventures without each other, but that's never as much fun.

And finally, I'm a writer. Watching folks in their dance entertains and empowers. People teach us all the time in more ways than I ever thought possible. "Hand Me Downs" and "Sierra Sunrise: A Travel Adventure" are my manuscripts available at Smashwords and Amazon kindle.
