BABAJIDE Dosunmu

Student, Art Director, and Director in Lagos state

Dear FOHSSA Students,

I would like to reintroduce myself, not because many of you do not know me, but because I believe every great journey begins with a clear understanding of the person seeking to lead it.

My name is Dosunmu Babajide Omotoyosi, a student of the Department of Mass Communication and an aspirant for the office of FOHSSA President.

Like many of you, I have experienced the challenges that come with being a student. I have seen brilliant minds struggle under financial pressure, talented students unable to fully maximize opportunities, and departments that desire stronger collaboration and unity within our faculty.

These experiences have shaped my vision for FOHSSA a faculty where student welfare is prioritized, academic excellence is supported, and unity is strengthened across all departments.

My aspiration is not driven by the desire to occupy a position but by the desire to serve. If given the opportunity, I will support the introduction of initiatives such as an Academic Fee Assistance Scheme and a Student Financial Aid Fundto provide structured and transparent support for students facing genuine financial challenges. The goal is simple: no student should have to abandon their academic dreams because of financial hardship.

Beyond welfare, I envision a faculty where students have access to opportunities that support their academic growth and where every department feels represented and valued. I believe that when we stand together as one faculty, we become stronger, more effective, and better positioned to achieve our collective goals.

Today, I present myself before you not as someone with all the answers, but as someone willing to listen, learn, and work tirelessly for the progress of our faculty.

This dream can either be fulfilled or left unrealized, and that decision rests with every student of FOHSSA.

I humbly seek your support, your trust, and ultimately, your vote.

DOSUNMU BABAJIDE OMOTOYOSI
Aspirant, FOHSSA President

For Student Welfare. For Academic Support. For Unity.
