Doug Truax is the Founder and CEO of Everlong Captive, leveraging over two decades of industry experience to redefine group health insurance. Since establishing Everlong in 2012, he has spearheaded a transformative shift in the self-insurance industry built on transparency, shared learning, and forward-thinking initiatives.

A West Point graduate and Army veteran, Doug has carried forward the core values of duty, discipline, and the courage to challenge the status quo, all in service to the higher good. His innovative solution to group health insurance has dismantled outdated practices, established new standards, and proven that better outcomes can be achieved predictably and sustainably.

Outside Everlong, you will find him championing various charities and spending time with his wife Nicole and their three children.
