Doug Levy

Ithaca, New York, United States

Doug Levy will graduate from Ithaca College in 2016 with a B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications. Doug's life goal is to develop and launch a product that becomes ubiquitous, a product that becomes ingrained in everyday life.

Doug and a teammate won 3rd place in the Ithaca College Business Idea competition last fall with, their protein fortified ice cream, Spartan Bars.

Doug is also actively working on another product inspired by Ithaca College, Polar Pants. Polar Pants are fleece lined, water and wind resistant chinos that combine timeless style with modern materials.

In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, he interned several summers as a business analyst, researching aerospace & defense companies for acquisition.

His last summer was spent researching video game companies and identifying their intellectual property acquisition needs, carrying out business development for an entertainment lawyer.

If he were to go the corporate route, his dream would be to work for a video game developer or publisher. As an avid gamer, Doug would love to work on projects he was passionate about.

Photography, particularly of wildlife, has always been a source of enjoyment and relaxation for Doug. Ideally, Doug would love to combine his marketing expertise with a visual orientation, with the goal of producing a TV series (scripted drama) about the grittier aspects of life in suburban Connecticut.
