Doug Band

Doug Band is a founding partner and president of Teneo Holdings, a global strategic advisory firm founded in 2011.
Band began his career as an intern at the White House in the mid-nineties, later serving as president Clinton’s chief advisor from 2002 to 2012.
Doug Band’s impact during his White House career spanned over a variety of projects and initiatives, perhaps the most notable is being recognized as the driving force behind the creation of the Clinton Global Initiative, an organization that has raised $69 billion in funds for a variety of philanthropic institutions around the world.
Band currently sits on the board for a number of organizations, most recently joining the Brookings Center for Universal Education advisory board, assisting in the mission of bringing universal, quality education to the developing world. He served as a member of the Coca-Cola international advisory committee, and aided the attempt to bring the World Cup to the United States as a member of the board of directors of the U.S. bid committee.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a master’s and law degree from Georgetown University.
