Doug Belliveau

Doug graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in May of 2012 with a B.S. degree in Communication and a focus in Advertising & Promotions.

When I started studying communication in college, marketing and social media quickly stood out to me. Once I started my internship at The Madison Square Garden Company working with Social Media and Mobile marketing campaigns, I knew that this was a field I would thrive in.

While employed at The Madison Square Garden Company, I successfully leveraged social media to achieve tangible and measurable results. My expertise helped advise the 20+ brands at MSG in the best practices that allow for 25.9% growth and increased engagement on all levels. In addition to social media, I assisted in the daily management of a database with over 9 million individuals for email campaigns and analytical reporting.

As the President for Tau Kappa Epsilon, my management of Twitter accounts for both the fraternity and our philanthropy, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, resulted with greater participation, increased donations and better communication with students across campus. As an Intern for Coursey & Company, I instructed the business owners on best practices and how to properly represent themselves through their social media profiles.

Working with social media is something that I am passionate about. I have a proven track record of generating engagement and encouraging conversations in the digital landscape.
