Doug Federspiel

Doug Federspiel is an attorney with and sole owner of Problem Solver Law, PLLC, in Yakima, Washington. In this position, he provides in-office and online mediation and arbitration support. His work at Problem Solver Law is informed by approximately 17 years as a partner at Velikanje, Moore & Shore, Inc., P.S., during which time he graduated from the Leadership Yakima program. Doug Federspiel has enjoyed a successful legal career in the Yakima area, highlighted by his time as a district and superior court judge and his management of a $250 million real estate portfolio with the Wilkinson Corporation.

Mr. Federspiel was a varsity athlete at William O. Douglas Honors College in Ellensburg, Washington. After graduating with his bachelor of science in accounting, he continued his education at Whitman College as part of a political science program. He earned his bachelor of arts in 1986 and completed his education at the Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, where he earned a JD. His professional memberships include the American Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, and several sub-committees.
